She has a name! With about 10 weeks left until her debut, Brad and I have decided on the name for our newest daughter (not an easy task):

Sage Olivia Duplechain

Can’t wait to have her here 🙂

So I’m not really a “come as you are” kind of girl. I’m more of the prepared-type…kind of always holding everything together, if you know what I mean. I’m constantly thinking of what needs to be done, what changes need to be made, etc. Truth is – I’m usually way more of a Martha than a Mary. Sometimes, though, I can’t hold it all together. All I can do is come just as I am. It takes alot for me to be that way. But sometimes I truly have nothing left. Not one iota. Life just is so busy and so draining sometimes. Anyway, that’s how I feel today. Tired. Not so much like sleepy-tired, but more like spirit-tired…or I guess I could say “tired on the inside”. I could cry but for no particular reason. (this may only make sense to other women 🙂 ). Anyway…I just wanted to share my thoughts. So here I am…just as I am.

3 He renews my strength.

Lord, have your way in me.

I don’t have anything significant to say right now…but I can’t help but point you in the direction of someone who does. Natalie Spera is by far one of the most amazing people I know. I would love to have even 1/2 her passion and joy when I grow up. Check out her blog at www.nataliespera.com. It will definitely impact you. It will probably change you. I can’t thank you enough, Natalie, just for being you…just for being His. It is such an honor to know you.

Although there may not be a son in Brad’s immediate future, my girl does a pretty good job of hangin’ with the boys.photo-2.jpgphoto3.jpg

The first one is Brie helping PawPaw (or vice-versa) fix his compressor. In the next one, she’s catching a little drink from our ‘water fountain’. This was after she begged to help Brad cut the grass. Girls that can hang with the boys are cool, you know? Especially when they look cute doing it.

PS – So since I stole this post and now Brad isn’t able to blog about these pics, I should at least mention that the credit for these pics goes to Brad’s pimptacular iphone. Thanks B. (you can quit whining about it now)
